Picow were employed by LiMA, on behalf of United Utilities to undertake the electrical and instrumentation design and installation at Crewe WwTW.

The main element of the works consisted of the supply and installation of containment and cabling to:

• Duty / assist Centrifuge Feed pumps
• Centrifuge Feed Pump and Export silo Instrumentation
• Export Silo feed and discharge conveyor drives
• Export Silo sliding frames / hydraulic power packs
• Export Silo truck Loading system
• LV Distribution to MCC and control system
• Ethernet and Profibus system
• External Plant lightning
• Trace Heating system
