The Arriva Rail North (ARN) Station Improvement Fund is a fund to deliver real improvements enabling a better customer experience at many of Northerns stations. The works being undertaken are part of ARNs franchise commitments and the scope includes but is not limited to:

• Ticket Vending Machines (TVMS)
• Customer Information Screens (CIS)
• Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
• Long Line Public Address (LLPA)
• Public Help Points (PHPs)
• Induction Loops
• New & Existing Waiting Shelter Refurbishments
• LED Lighting
• Seating, Signage, Fencing Alterations & Painting
• Cycle Storage

Picow have undertaken works at 76 No. stations and installed civils and electrical services to TVMs at a further 56 No. Stations.
