CLIENT: J Murphy & Sons Limited
PROJECT: Manchester Victoria Lighting Upgrade
VALUE: £1,000,000
SCOPE: Electrical Design & Installation
The Project
In accordance with our design brief, surveying was undertaken to enable a conceptual design to be generated. An innovative solution that embraced modern technologies was proposed, which was not only aesthetically pleasing but provided a superior lighting level and ambience. The design team understood the sensitive nature of selecting the correct solution due to the Grade II listed status of the installation area.
On approval of the design, our installation team were then responsible for ensuring the design became a reality. The project management team collaborated with the station management team to meticulously plan the works. This close working relationship guaranteed minimal disruptions to their rail services ensuring the station operated normally.
Our engineers installed the new state of the art media trunking system which included integral lighting. All existing services were redeployed into this containment prior to the redundant lighting system being removed.
