Case Study Whiston Hospital
PICOW’s Electrical division has undertaken a substantial electrical installation project on behalf of NG Bailey to assist in the construction of the new Whiston hospital development. One of the UK’s largest modular buildings the hospital project was completed ahead of schedule.

This comprehensive installation utilised an innovative modular wiring techniques which increased our onsite efficiency, enabling PICOW to meet the demanding programme on time and within budget.
During the project PICOW were also involved with the substantial enabling works associated with this development. The scheme required the creation of a new multi-storey car park and link bridge facility to enable the construction of the new hospital to proceed.
Whilst undertaking these tasks a wide variety of modifications to the existing hospital were embarked upon to accommodate the new facility. These works were carried out to cause minimum disruption to the fully operational hospital.
