Salford Crescent Station - New Platform Works Underway
We are proud to be working on behalf of Network Rail and Kier Group on the construction of a brand-new platform at Salford Crescent Station.
Picow is responsible for delivering the Mechanical, Electrical, telecoms and the construction fit out of the accommodation block on this project.
This major upgrade will:
✅ Improve passenger flow
✅ Reduce train delays
✅ Provide greater flexibility for services travelling through central Manchester and across the country
In addition to the new platform, we’ll also be involved in the installation of a new exit ticket gate line to further enhance the passenger experience and ease station movement.
