Following the planned retirement of Dave Cartwright, Picow Engineering Group is proud to announce Mark James as our new Managing Director.

Mark is a shining example of the opportunities available to everyone at Picow Engineering Group and the philosophy of growing our own talent and nurturing them through the business.

Mark joined the company as an apprentice in 1998 before progressing through many roles including estimator, estimating manager, senior design engineer, project manager and most recently operations director and the companies quality manager.

For the past 5 years Marks new role of managing director is one that has been strategically implemented in co-operation with our previous managing director Dave Cartwright for his planned retirement.

With now over 150 people employed by the company, the role of managing director is one that has become increasing demanding, requiring someone who not only understands the business and its core values, but also someone who will thrive in the challenge of the day-to-day management and also be willing to take the necessary steps to take the business to the next level.

All at Picow would like to congratulate Mark on his new role and look forward to seeing him lead Picow over the coming years and beyond.
