PICOW, has recently commenced works on three groundbreaking wastewater treatment projects in the north west. These projects at Burnley, Chipping and Merebrow are part of the ambitious Better Rivers Better North West action plan, spearheaded by United Utilities, with the goal of enhancing nearly 200km of rivers by 2025.

As a reputable company responsible for the design and implementation of the electrical, control, and instrumentation (EC&I) aspects of these projects, we are making significant strides towards helping improve water quality and protecting our precious ecosystems. With the implementation of cutting-edge water treatment technologies in the new wastewater treatment plants. These innovative solutions ensure the removal of pollutants and harmful substances from wastewater, significantly improving the quality of treated water discharged into our rivers.
